Application for IFQ / CDQ Hired Master Permit - Commercial Fishing Permits Center

Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) permit holders must use this application to obtain hired master permits in the IFQ Program and by CDQ permit holders in the Western Alaska Community Development Quota Program.

Proof of a minimum of 20% ownership in the vessel listed in Block C by the Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) Permit holder in Block A for a period of 12 months immediately preceding the date of application. Acceptable proof of ownership is limited to:
Documentation establishing indirect ownership of the vessel if the IFQ permit holder listed in Block A is not the person named on the USCG Abstract of Title or State of Alaska vessel license or registration. Acceptable documentation may include corporate annual reports, stock certificates, tax returns, annual meeting minutes, etc.
